CXCR4 is a type of receptor found in more than 30 types of cancer, including lymphoma, breast, pancreatic, ovarian, and lung cancer (SCLC). Basically, the chemokine receptor CXCR4 is considered a key factor for tumor growth and metastasis. 68Ga-PENTIXAFOR radiopharmaceutical is a new diagnostic radiopharmaceutical that intelligently identifies CXCR4 receptors and in this regard, the positron emission tomography (PET) method is used.
