PSMA-1007 is known as a urea-based tracer and it’s highly selective on prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA). [18F] PSMA-1007 has the potential to be used in conjunction with Positron Emission Tomography (PET) as a tool for the early and precise diagnosis and localization of suspected chronic or recurring prostate cancer to allow patients plan the therapy.
